What inspires you?

So I'm trying to figure out what inspires fellow scrappers to to scrap the pages they do. Is it a particular photo you have, the season, a title name, a new paper line you found at the store, or seeing another layout? I think whatever way you organize your thoughts prior to scrapbooking tells alot through the page you create. For example if you are driven by a particular photo, it will take center stage on your page and you may tend to spend more time on the photo than on any other part of the page. Yes? No? I was inspired by a title called "Death by Candycorn" and I immediately thought of a photo I took of my kids with candycorn teeth! Here is a photo of the page I came up with! What does this layout say for my inspiration? I'd like to know what inspires you - make sure to leave your commments here.

So cute - love the layout!! I never remember to buy candycorn because I personally think they're disgusting, but I have 3 kids who love 'em so maybe this year I should treat them. They definitely make great photo opps!

i love how you started with the title and then realized you had photos to fit...for me it's the other way around! titles are always the hardest part of the layout for me

I generally start with photos first, then build the pages around what I have. I have a mini album on my blog now that tells the story of my father's last days...and the time I spent with him. In that case I started with purpose first...I wanted to specifically share my heart for my Dad...then I found the pictures that visualized a character trait I was describing. I agree...titles are sometimes my greatest challenge too.
